MILWAUKEE, WI – On June 6, 2017, Lori McDonald was celebrated by the Milwaukee Business Journal as a Woman of Influence in the Milwaukee community.
McDonald was recognized for her entrepreneurial spirit and drive that took Brilliance Business Solutions from a website company in her home in 1998 to a $1.5 million-dollar business located in downtown Milwaukee. At Brilliance, McDonald has developed a culture around six core values – Account to Excellence, Driven, Responsive, Wholehearted, Seek Win/Win/Win and Being Learners – and leads the team through the lens of these values. Along with her inspirational spirit in the office, McDonald lives out her values in the community by volunteering her time to local non-profits.
“Company culture and the tone for culture is set at the top and the leadership at Brilliance takes its responsibility seriously for setting this tone through words and actions. Lori shows these values daily it means a lot to me to work for a president that values her employees and their roles in our company. She respects us as human beings and strives to provide a culture that is best for her employees and our customers while giving back to our community,” stated Drew Douglas, Lead Developer.
