ASPDotNetStorefront vs. Magento

I’ve had a few questions of late—some exploring the platform, others already on it—abouthow ASPDNSF (Storefront) stacks up against one of the industry leaders, Magento.
To be sure, e ach is a well-respected platform in its own right—as Internet Retailer found in its
(more on this in later posts). But from a feature-set, how comparable are the two platforms?
Let me just say, I’m not a programmer so this is a business case for corporate eCommerce. If you would like to have a discussion about the merits of one code base over another, you’re far better searching elsewhere.
Similarly, if your eCommerce needs are basic, there are a host of other products—low-cost/no-cost—capable of filling the need.
But if you need serious eCommerce and are curious where you might get the largest return for dollar spent, stay tuned. I’m confident over the next couple posts I can help shed some light on a few things.
First off, let me be specific about the products I’m referencing since Vortx and Magento each have a few. For the purpose of this discussion, I’m referring to ‘ASPDotNetStorefront Professional’ vs Magento Enterprise.
