Power up Reviews in AspDotNetStorefront
As store owners, we’ve all heard the call for more, relevant content on our sites. In later posts, we’ll talk about ways to leverage the capabilities of a content management system (CMS) with your AspDotNetStorefront store.
But, for now, I thought I’d share one of the lowest-hanging fruit options when it comes to content in the store: Product reviews.
Reviews are hardly new. Like most shopping carts AspDotNetStorefront provides functionality for customers to review products out-of-the-box.
But, what many may not understand is that reviews help in two key ways - customer acquisition and conversion.
Many know the statistics around the value of reviews for conversion. According to Google, reviews Increase conversions by over 12% (nearly 75% if there are more than 5 reviews)*.
What many don’t realize is that reviews also deliver the kind of user-generated content that Google truly values. This feedback often helps organic search rankings and drives more direct traffic to product pages.
