A park with a fascinating history, Havenwoods is an oasis in the middle of Milwaukee’s north side. Like many natural spaces in our city, invasive species that have been introduced in various ways are taking over and getting out of control. These (mostly plants) species are aggressive in the competition for resources and native species have a difficult time.
